Let’s Try This Again!

So another new plan….we will open this Thursday June 4 for outdoor seating and continue  Take Out with Front Porch Delivery.  The tent comes today (Tuesday) and we will work hard on getting it set up nicely for you.  We have a plan for the patio, which won’t be “complete” until next week but we have a temporary fix.

This dining option will obviously be weather dependent and brings with it a lot of uncertainty.  We will have limited seating and will operate mainly through reservations.   We will put out some picnic tables and encourage you to bring a blanket and have yourselves a little picnic in the grass.  We will wait on you there!

There is always a breeze at our Arundel barn, not sure what sort of microclimate we have moved into but, it’s really nice.  I’ve personally enjoyed my dinners out there every night the past week.  I hope you’ll love it as much as I did.

The host will be stationed outside by the patio. One member of your party should check in with the host, while the rest wait at an appropriate distance. Whatever your feelings are about masks/no masks, social distancing/not social distancing – please respect the needs of others and give them their space. We will have the tables spaced out 6 feet apart, staff will wear masks, and you all need to wear masks too though, while you are moving about.  You can enter the building for the bathroom only, and we will be ushering you to the one upstairs. We will be constantly cleaning and wiping down surfaces.  The new rule is paper menus which need to be tossed after each use, to reduce this waste we will give one menu per two people, or you can opt for a digital menu that we will text to you upon seating.

We have a lot of new summer wines, beers, and cocktails for you to try, and Scott is putting the finishing touches on our latest menu.  Our most recent Sous Chef that moved here from Minnesota has decided to return home due to all the Covid-19 madness so, we are in need of a talented Sous Chef, if you know of someone please send them our way.

We are going to take this one day at a time, one step at a time.  We just hope this weather holds!!!
