Okay, so we are still rolling with it. We aren’t able to get in there yet and do ALL those things we need to do to get open and we still have the lease on the space in the Port so why not stay open through Indigenous People’s Day Weekend ( formerly known as Columbus Day Weekend here in Maine!).
Todays plan entails staying open in the Port until October 13 and then moving everything over to Arundel. We will probably take a week to get everything up and running. We hope to do an open house, followed by a soft opening for friends and family (the guinea pigs), and then a grand opening.
We sincerely thank you for all of your support, encouragement, and patience while we sort all of this out. We have so many hopes and plans for the new space but I’m sure there will be lots of kinks to work out. You can rest assured though that the quality of food and service will remain. We hear skepticism in some voices and concerns over the move and all we can say is, if you like what we’ve done in the Port, please have some faith that what we are planning will exceed that. We wouldn’t have made this move if we didn’t think we could offer something more, and to more people.
